Handheld Computing

I am a constant user of hand-held computers. I think they have great utility in situations that don't require a full laptop computer. I started with a Hewlett Packard HP 95LX, and I currently use an Apple Newton MessagePad 120 and a Cassiopeia Windows CE HPC. I find that they both have different strengths, but I think that a slightly smaller MessagePad with significantly more horsepower could cause me to have just one such device.

AIBO

I wanted to love AIBO, I really did.  But he's way to fragile.  Our little guy broke twice in the 30 days we had him.  I did visit the Sony Tower Store in Osaka the first week of March 2001 and found some new stuff on him.  They had several AIBOs there, including some who were visiting with their owners, both 210 and 1xx varieties.

One AIBO was setup to play rock, scissors, paper.  If you won, you got an AIBO Pin.  If you lost, you got AIBO stickers.
