I do NOT want to wear a tuxedo!

Golly, we owe you all an update!  So, where to start?  June brought a typical, hot Texas summer and we spent most evenings in the pool.  Mason's finally getting used to it and likes to play alongside the pool with his towel.  Mason and Mommy make a beautiful picture; after a big day, Mason passes out on the sofa.

He's also walking very well and as you can see, walks like he knows where he's going; loves tomato and avocado, so he's very happy at Baja Fresh; likes to carry things around the house -- in this case, bottled water and underwear; is drinking from a regular cup with the regular accident; and just loves to get muddy.

At 15 months old, he can get out of the pool on his own; likes to sit in his rocker; and of course loves to lunge for the camera.

Daddy had business in Naples, FL, so we all went down and Mason got to play on the beach.  It was really hot and humid, so I'm not sure he liked it all that much, though he did like playing in the hotel's halls and poses in front of the hotel with Mommy.  Guess who went to Burberry?  Back at home, Mason poses with Daddy and loves the tunnels at Gymboree.

We're into July and he looks forward to watering the plants.  He's climbing onto everything -- Mommy, chairs, countertops.  He never figured out how to use the riding hippo and prefers to ride the little truck.

Mason's 15 months old and we decided, kind of last minute, to go trans-Atlantic on the Queen Mary 2.  Nice boat.  Mason enjoys his First Class seat, while Daddy enjoys the fact that Mason's sleeping.  In New York, Daddy got to see the Apple store and Mommy got to see FAO Schwarz.  Mason liked the cabin.

Leaving New York is always a highlight.  Mason completes some last minute work for Daddy; tolerates us and lets us dress him in a Tuxedo for the formal nights; gets rewarded at the end with some chocolate, followed by breakfast in bed; Mason explores the entire ship by foot; is very impressed with the Veuve Cliquot Champagne bar and enjoys a strawberry with the North Atlantic behind him.  After leaving the QM2, Mason's first trip to the UK is celebrated with a Guinness.
