Okay, we've been slack on updating the page, but not on taking pictures of our little man!

Here we are in February and Mason is refusing to be fed.  The books say he needs to feed himself, so who are we to argrue?  What a mess!  We missed the irony of the "Food Safety" shirt the first time.  And no, it's not an illusion -- his feet really are that big!  We're also reading to him and his favorite book has baby animals.

Leesa and Mason have started going to Gymboree.  It's great fun and they've both made lots of new friends.

We also took him to Lake Tahoe and he got to see snow!  He was very well behaved on the plane and played with ice cubes for most of the flight.

At 10 months old, he has become a crawling demon, but doesn't like to cruise.  He's happy to pull himself up, though, and as you can see, he's pretty adept at it.  He has also decided that he likes to sleep on his belly.  Put him on his back and he'll flip himself over and go to sleep.  He still likes going for the camera, but if you're fast, you can still get a good shot of him.

This is the last time he'll fit in the tie-dye shirt!  Mason has moved into an older Gymboree group, but still has lots of the same friends.  Now that he's at 11 months, he's willing to stand for a bit if he gets to eat what Mommy does!

Mason admires some tulips and gives Daddy a wet kiss on the nose.  He's doing a much better job of feeding himself and he's learning to drink from a real cup.  He poses for beautiful pictures with the tulips and gets a great reward!

Back at Gymboree, he and his friend Hailey are having a great time.  Daddy gets home just in time for his 11 month birthday.

He stands!  In other news, he helps Uncle Chris put a table together, hangs out with Hailey, helps Daddy assemble his new bike trailer, learns to climb a stepstool on his own and continues to feed and water himself.
