Special Holiday Edition! 

Back in Dallas, Mason gets ready to have TexMex and then has a nap with Daddy (what a horrible picture!); learns how to sit up on his own and learns how to crawl in the same week!; has a swing with Mommy right after Thanksgiving;

 

December's another big month.  Mason gets to enjoy his first high chair; dresses up for a brief cold snap; has his own keyboard, so he can help Mommy on the computer; and gets to ride Buddy, Dona's Dalmatian.

 

Mason's eight months old and now he can stand up on his own with support!  Nana helps Mason get ready to meet Santa Claus; Mason places his order with the big man and lets Mommy know he enjoyed his visit and tries out his Halloween costumer -- which unfortunately got lost in the mail.

 

Right before Christmas, Mason demonstrates how he can stand on his own; helps organize Daddy's office; wraps presents; and waits with his pal for for Santa.

 

Guess who's into everything?  Mason poses for the obligatory humiliating picture.

 

Finally Christmas is here!  Mason hands out presents...

 

 

Tries to knock down the tree and almost succeeds and steals some frosting!

 

But after Christmas, we all came down with the flu...  For the first few days, Mason was a trooper, but it eventually wore him down.

 

But the flu didn't keep him down long.  The antibiotics became a favorite of his, though.  It's really sweet and he started to look forward to his daily fix!

 

Someone's getting into more and more everyday.  Mason has developed a huge interest in the refrigerator -- he gallops over as soon as the door opens.

 

 

He has also figured out how to work his way into higher shelves, so now nothing is safe and we need a new place for the knives.

 

Daddy and Mason get to spend a lot of time together.

 

Mommy, Daddy & Mason enter a local 5K run!  It was chilly and "Uncle" Chris came along.

 

At nine months, Mason was 20 pounds, 3 ounces and he was something like 28 inches long!  We had to throw this picture in -- Mason was so tired on his birthday that he fell asleep on his own in his chair!  He's cruising around a bit and his latest thing is sticking his tongue out.
