So, here are the pictures of our house, post Hurricane Katrina. I know many of you are going to see it and freak. Let me assure you that I've seen much worse and although this is a huge mess, after much negotiation, we were able to settle close to our insurance budget. We then sold the house discounted for the loss and no longer own waterfront property in New Orleans.

These pictures are taken from my first visit back to the house on October 7, 2005, over five weeks after Katrina struck and only a couple of days after the first possible opportunity to visit.
